Okay so I know everyone wants a Rotten update and I've go something in the works but this "Once Upon a Legacy" idea has been kicking around in my head for forever now. I just had to put it out there. I hope you all enjoy it C:
Well I've moved into a new apartment with my soulmate/ best friend/ Mindy (no homo). I switched universities. Broke up with my boyfriend. Broke up with my more "than friends" friend. Started paying my own bills...
Hmmmm... so it's been a while?
Not too long I hope? Well recently I've been living the dream of working two minimum wage jobs to save up for a place to live next semester as I squander the best years of my life slaving at work and school, so that I may be rewarded when I'm 60 with the wonderful thing of retirement. So for the past two weeks or so I have barely touched the sims. I know sad. Ambitions is still sitting unopened on my bedroom floor (some fellow gave it me) and my legacy family hasn't been touched. As for the writing I'm a bit bent out of shape 'cause what I had originally planned to do has been replaced by an even BETTER plan but now I don't have the right screen shots and I've already played well past the part I need so now I'm debating what to do story wise once I find the time to actually sit down and write something well though out.
As for my other project Once Upon a Legacy While I have gotten a whole bunch of screen shots the story seems lacking :[
Actually Mare’s Nest this is what I ended my post with:
"While Jack's actions made him a douche-bag I feel that they weren't something to contact the police about. I believe The Mare's Nest in this situation did the wrong thing. That's it. I still read and support The Mare's Nest and feel that normally they hit the nail on the head, but that doesn't mean I agree with everything they say, so I just thought I'd voice my opinion. "
I'm sorry you took me voicing my opinion as "wagging my finger” at you it is just my opinion. In regards to the Private Eye magazine I am sorry. I misunderstood. I am from the states so when you said private eye I thought of detectives; I had no idea it was a famous magazine. Searchlight I thought was British jargon for tabloids. As for the italics you put then names in (which yes should have been my first clue, yes -_-‘) I thought it was done merely for emphasis. You know how we Americans are always butchering the English language. (That was supposed to be my attempt at a mood lightening joke.)
I do not regret posting my opinion. It was the only way to voice it to you. If there had been some other way of directly contacting you I would have done it through that. I'm sorry you could see only the bad in my post. I also said many nice things about you. However, I still would not have taken the legal step you did with Jack4740. That's just me and this is just my humble opinion. As for me my definition of when trolling has gone too far, which I did in fact mention in my post, is when someone tries to hack an account or threatens violence.

Considering all the drama going on at the TS3 it's moments like this that make me really happy to be part of the sims community. I mean isn't this what the game is all about? Making sims/lots/housing and sharing them? Sharing your love of the sims with the other people in the community?
Okay here comes the hard stuf:
I don't really want to make my blog about all the weird political power playing going on at TS3 forum and other blogs but I feel like I need to say some things that aren't being said. I hope people will listen to my opinion with an open mind. Okay so this is going to be a bit long so bare with me.
The thing that really just took things over the top was the The Mare's Nest actions regarding Jack4740.
Okay firstly you might be thinking "What Jack4740? That was like two weeks ago. Why bring it up now?" Well that's because I launched my blog two weeks ago I didn't want people to think I was trying to stir up drama 'cause that's not what I'm about. Also I wanted to give people who were personally involved with Jack4740 and the situations he caused/involved himself in some time to let their emotions cool. So that's why after a little over two weeks I'm bringing it up.
Now most of you who know me and know the Mare know that we have had a good relationship. I really appreciate the Mare's interest in my legacy and I also think they're a great thing for the sims community. However, I feel that the Mare changed it's policy in regards to Jack4740.
"Not so serious" "occasional in-depth analysis" "cringe in tribute" none of these phrases really describe their actions in regards to Jack4740 because in truth what The Mare's Nest was before this incident was just a reporter, an on looker. But when they decided to take action they became something different. This was made clear in their blog posting of "Putting an End to Jack4740" Where they proudly state and take at least semi-credit for "[sending] a full dossier of Jack's activities to his local police station" while they say that a mutual friend did the actual sending to the police and to Jack's school there is no doubt that The Mare's Nest collaborated and helped sponsor the decision to take the legal step. They also chose to send one to Jack's mother making it personal. That's right let's bring l33+ speak back! lol any way I have been super organizing my sims 3 custom content folder, and I'm ashamed to say it took daysss! =_= Ugh I have so much cc from so many places it was killer tring to find pics of it all!
